BioMy name is eunice (pronounced you-neece, not you-niss). my family and relatives accents the "you" part, while my friends emphasize the "neece" part. either way is fine with me. sometimes i don't feel like correcting my teachers on the way they pronounce my name. why? partly because and i do, they just never remember, or i just don't feel like it. my friends then have to do it for me. shameful, i know.
when i answer the phone, people often think i'm my dad, or a boy. this one time i was taking a message for my mom and the lady asked me, "is this maxee's son?" i usually just go along with it, "um, yeah."
